Here’s a new book – for children – from Papillote Press that you may be interested in.THE SNAKE KING OF THE KALINAGO is published in the UK on February 15 at £3.99.

The book is a re-telling of the myth of the Kalinago snake who came out of the sea at L’Escalier Tete Chien and went to live in a cave in the mountains. Children from Atkinson School, Dominica, have written the words, using their own nowledge of the myth and their imaginations. The illustrations are by members of the former Carib Territory Communications Group and appeared in an earlier Papillote Press book, Yet We Survive.
